Title: wicd-tray-icon gone
Post by: Pita on January 29, 2010, 12:13:42 am
HP2133 Mini-Note with VL-6-STD-Gold

One user lost the wicd-tray-icon on the xfce-panel and the dumb administrator
does not know how to bring it back. :-\

How does one get the wicd-tray-icon back onto the panel?

Have you tried running
wicd-client
in the terminal.
If it starts up, then maybe your user just deleted it from autostarted applications.

Thanks! wicd-client did not work. It is in the autostart appliaction to start. I removed now
the user and put her back and the wicd-tray-icon is back on the panel.
