Title: screen recorder?

hello all are there any good desktop recorders that vector linux can run? and how do I obtain them?

If you are using VL6.0 Std or light you can get gtk-recordmydesktop or xvid from the repositories. This may also work for vl60soho, but their may be some dependency issues.
If you are using vl7.0 std alpha or vl6.0 soho you could also use the mmbd available here...

gtk-recordmydesktop, and recordmydesktop are really good utilities. Have used them extensively in other distros.
