Title: XML file viewer help please.
Post by: Locator on March 12, 2012, 05:13:54 pm
I have noticed recently when I download software packages for the Linux operating system, that on more then one occasion the documentation is in ".xml" format, the question that i have is this - What is the correct way to handle such files in order to view them properly?

XML is a generic format, there really is no "correct" way to view them. Geany will display it in syntax highlighted form, as will some web browsers. But to have it in a more "user friendly" format, you will have to know what the author intended you to view it with. This will be different for each document or document source that you come across.
