Graphical tool for SlackBuild conversion.
sbbuilder-yad
So sites like SlackBuilds.org, Slacky.eu, archlinux's aur repo and others are great sources for SlackBuilds but they are not going to cut it as a SlackBuild suitable for inclusion in the Vectorlinux repository.
That is where sbbuilder-yad comes in. It makes converting SlackBuilds from different sites easy.
Here is a where you can get it....

Here is how you set it up....

Here is example use of SlackBuilds.org (xoscope)

Second example of the use of sbbuilder-yad.
This video demonstrates xcircuit on the SlackBuilds.org site being converted to a Vectorlinux style slackbuild.
In this example you see how .png files .desktop files and others can just be dragged in to the working directory.

Thanks Sledgehammer,
I'm thinking this thread is going to be a work in progress for a while, keep it book marked but yes please do give it some time and you should see the information provided mature.
Once you see 4-5 videos up on the subject, there should be enough documentation to make any experimentation easy.
