Title: VectorLinux SOHO 7.1 available for testing
Post by: M0E-lnx on July 09, 2015, 10:26:22 am
We've been working on resurrecting the SOHO spin of our beloved project.

I'd like to invite everybody to help us test the SOHO images so we can get them ready for public release.

These images share the same stable base as our recently released 7.1 STD FINAL.  We took that and changed the default desktop + added a few more pieces of software to bring back what I personally remember from the SOHO spin, but please test and let us know of any problems and/or software that needs to be added or removed.

Any and all feedback will be appreciated.

Thank you...since the base is the same as 7.1 std then all the stable packages in the repos should be okay to use correct?

I built Beta #4 of the SOHO ISO yesterday.  Please test and report back.

The ISO images are at the usual location http://vlcore.vectorlinux.com/pkg/untested/veclinux-7.1/iso

I just clicked the link for SOHO (in the first post for this thread), and a message popped up that said "404 Not found", so where do I get the latest version of SOHO?
