Title: VL-7.2 - Alpha
Post by: overthere on October 10, 2015, 04:50:31 pm
Delighted to see continuing progress on the Vector 7 series

Should I have removable devices with A0.1 or is this to come.

Edit: sorry, was attempting to access a usb thumb drive to add printer drivers but devices do not show in thunar and was unable to mount in terminal..

I notice that the menu/settings/print settings item does not provide anything when selected.

likely a bad burn or something..perhaps gvfs and/or additional files were intended for later addition. the alpha post suggested printing was of interest...moving along...cheers

Can you fill out a bug report and post the dmesg output there please?  That way we can track each issue until it is resolved

Although I understand and agree, All I have are time and old computers I unfortunately do not have the skill set to comply, thus moving along as to not waste more of your valuable time. perhaps beta has a place for me.

IE: without wifi browser or usb, communicating the content of dmsg is difficult. I can post that dmsg does see the device and mount /dev/sdb1 in terminal shows not in /etc/fstab. you see my point. not the most usefull info for a bug tracker..whats more you can not possibly not already know that.. dont encourage the troll.

All the best with the alpha

PS..enjoying VL-7.1
