Title: VL-7.2-STD-FINAL-LIVE
Post by: ext4 on July 31, 2019, 02:33:35 am
Hello, everybody,

I'm new here and have a problem creating the USB Boot Stick.

I create the USB Boot Stick with RUFUS 3.6, the boot process aborts and the error message file "VL-7.2-STD-FINAL-LIVE" is not found.

With version VL-7.0 the live session works.

What am I doing wrong?

Sorry for my bad English.

Greetings

Hi ext4,

You are probably not doing anything wrong. My recommendation is that you use a linux system and the dd command to create your USB stick. That is what was used during testing and is the most reliable method for VL.

Hello,
Thank you very much for the quick answer.
Too bad, I don't have a working Linux system.
Greetings from Germany

I think the dd command is on OSX by default. It's available for Windows too, just look around.
