hi, since this topic is interesting to me and since i have added lots of actions to thunar, I would like to share some of theones i use and hopefully get feedback on the subject. If you have added custom actions to your thunar, please,share them here!

here is one way to resize pictures in thunar (like kde's kim) using a bash script to resize and compress many images (not just one)

Here's my favorite.

Name:Open as DVD
Description: Open and run as DVD in xine
Command: xine dvd:/%f

Appearance conditions
File Pattern: *
Appears for: Directories

And another one for opening the current or selected directory as root.

Name: Open as root
Description: Opens this directory in Thunar as root
Command: kdesu -c "thunar %f"

Appearance conditions
File Pattern: *
Appears for: Directories
