Title: email tracer

ive been getting this email every week from some one i don't know   but they know me and i was wandering if there was a good email tracer out there.  i looked them up  but there are a couple to chose from and was wandering if anyone had luck using one or know of a good one.

i would like to be able to find out where the email are coming from so i can figure out who it is.

Well, do you think the From: header is spoofed?

The first problem as Hanumizzle stated was spoofed headers.

Examine  the message headers and that will be about as much
info. that will be easily available to you.

Alot of mail clients will show the headers.

i checked the email address and it got me know where.  so who ever it is is hiding.  i did Google tracers and found some  but i didn't want to pay for it unless i had to pluss they run on windows.  i guess i could always wine it  but don't know how it will work.
