Title: New In Town
Post by: Klinggon22 on May 30, 2007, 06:50:04 pm
Wanted to stop by and say hello to everyone on the board.  My name is Jerry I am in the United States.  Have been using Windows forever, have tried Linux a few times but always had problems installing.  Came across Vector and decided to try.  Finnally I got it.  I have installed 5.8 Standard Gold.  This is nice so have been on it for about 3 days now and am planning on keeping it.
I like this it is awesome.  Thanks and good work to all the developers of the distro.  I am planning on getting a few of my friends of it..  I am planning on fazing out windows soon a I get a little better with commands and things.

Thanks again for all your great and hard work on VL.

Welcome to the VL forum.. just one thing, these are the Vector linux forums not the vortex linux forums. Sounds like a cool name for a distro though ;D.
