Title: Phone management software
Post by: Freeman on July 10, 2007, 10:50:28 am
Last week I purchased a new Nokia 6233. With it came 'Nokia PC Suite' for windows only off course ;) So here goes my question: Is there a good Linux alternative to use with my phone for transferring music, video, contacts, ... via Bluetooth?

Thanks in advance!

If your box is bluetooth capable, you can install bluez to get it going

there is a kde package for bluetooth too, it makes konkeror to work with the bluez protocol, so you can input an address like bluetooth://... and navigate the files of your phone as in a network. Never tried by myself because lack of time, I got the service up but never made a connection with my phone, but I droped it in the middle...
