Kazé just released 0.7.9:

EDIT: If you don't know what I'm talking about, Kompozer is to Nvu what SeaMonkey was to Mozilla Suite... ;)

Thats good news, some users are still looking for a "dreamweaver for linux". I prefer bluefish though. I used the previous versions of Kompozer, and it produces nice code for a wyswyg editor. I will check it soon. NVU was easy to install, so I think will be no need of a vl package for this one  :)

Excellent!  I'll update the one I've got in testing.

I've been holding off packaging this as Kaze himself said there were quite a few bugs to work out.  But now it's very close to a release.  In fact if this last RC works out, this might be it.

I've built the RC just for fun.  It's looking goooooooood!  Notice the icon on the right has changed?  Lot's of bugs fixed, and new features.  Can't wait until it's officially Kompozer 0.7.10

Kaze just announced the release of kompozer 0.7.10:

Quote from: Kaze
I'm very pleased to announce that KompoZer 0.7.10 is finally available.
This release corrects many bugs of Nvu 1.0 and includes a usable version of the CSS editor, CaScadeS.
Unlike the 0.7.9.xxx snapshots, this release is stable and ready for end-users. KompoZer users are strongly encouraged to upgrade.

Thanks Joe1962!

That's good news.  Many bugs that were fixed are problems I've had in the past so I'm pretty excited.

Can't crack this one open until Tuesday or so.  Wife has a three day weekend (holiday in the states).  She would tan my hide for sure!
