Title: /ect/fstab problem
Post by: Capu on August 01, 2007, 06:22:21 am
So, I cant open /ect/fstab with root anymore
I dont get what the problem is, I even reinstalled VL.
And yeah, writing and reading for root is enabled. Or well, reading and writing for owner, root is the owner.

When I try to open it for examble with mcedit, it just says "Cant open file for reading" and if I open it trought konqueror, I can see what is in it, but cant edit.

First, make sure you're not typing the wrong thing (you did it here 2 times)

it's /etc/fstab
not /ect/fstab
