Title: Enable Plugin
Post by: nvl_usr on November 01, 2007, 05:20:02 am
Hi,

I would like to know the procedure to enable a plugin. I have downloaded and installed(using Kpackage) vlc plugin and it has been installed to the foll path:

/usr/lib/mozilla/plugins/libvlcplugin.so

but when i try to access a media file through my firefox browzer it opens it using the default mplayer plugin.

Is there a way to enable this vlc plugin?

Thanx.

Not sure 'bout FF but in Seamonkey(formerly Mozilla) it goes like this:
*Edit*-*preferences-*helper applications*
choose "new type" and fill in.
