Title: Vector Linux Gamers Edition
Post by: Kocil on April 05, 2008, 11:18:45 pm
Hi there .... so long no see.

I'm on fire promoting open source on my country.
Next month, we want to make an "Open Source Gamers Challenge".
So we are looking for a good Linux games distro.

I read some times ago that VL has a gamers flavours.
Could somebody direct me to find it ?

Thanks in advance.

Ok, I got the DVD.
Pretty fun :D

I have two questions though:
1. How to install it to the harddisk ?
2. If I want to remove some games then replace it with other games I like more,
which games you would suggest to be replaced ?

    * America's Army
    * Cube
    * Doom 3
    * Enemy Territory,
    * Legends
    * Nexuiz,
    * Privateer,
    * Quake 4,
    * Soldier of Fortune,
    * UFO: Alien Invasion,
    * UT2004,
    * Wesnoth
    * Postal 2

I mean, I'm not a seasoned gamer so I don't know which is better or unique.

Thanks

We are about to release an update to that version. I would visit our forums for screenshots and more informatin about it. We have also redone our website
