http://slacke17.sf.net (http://slacke17.sf.net) might be worth checking out. They have a source package that contains a build script. Might ease the pain some......................... :)

Heh, heh!  I'm basing it off of that.  It's Slackware proven so I'd think we'd be in good shape.  Honestly most of the hassle is finding all the info's needed for a proper slack-desc.

I'll get cracking on it again soon.  I get tunnel vision easily.  Been working on scripts to aid me with this repo business.  Don't worry. Nothing server based....   yet.

m-ake and i successfully compiled e17 once on 5.8 soho. cant remember how. but we followed some tutorial. it worked. i was impressed. ill ask him next time i see him, try to get that link from him, if he even remembers hehe.
