Title: pidgin icon
Post by: dannyupsolate on June 11, 2008, 01:17:42 pm
Linux mint makes pidgin show a mint icon as it's default icon.  it is cheap advertisement. those to lazy to change will keep it.

yes that one of the tricks to create a character to a distro- customise every single thing you can and have the excuse to post it at websites such as kde-look,xfce-look and so on. That spreads the word, believe me. If the work is well done, even ubuntu guys might use vector linux splash graphics or wallpapers.  ::)

Personally, I think Ubuntu using a VL splash is just nasty ;)
