Title: I think I almost have my wireless working
Post by: 449 on November 17, 2008, 04:28:14 pm
My wireless usb is the TP-LINK TL-WN620G.

When I Vector load up the red light on it starts blinking, which it does in Windows XP. Here's what happens though:

1. VASM -> Network -> Wireless

2. "wireless interface wlan0 was found
      Lets set it up"

3. I enter my essid and WEP key, select DCHP and start up.

4. "could not obtain an address for wireless interface wlan0"

Could anyone tell me what I need to do from here?

I found that a few hours ago that this made my wireless working in puppy! It worked for Vector to get "wlan0" to show up under "iwconfig." The only problem is, is that the wifi radar app won't run, and I don't know how else to get the network list.

(typed this from puppy :P )
