Title: Djvu viewer - need help
Post by: boris on April 22, 2009, 08:59:07 am
I run Vector SOHO 5.9 as mt regular desktop.
Now I have a problem - I can download documents as .djvu files, but how am I supposed to read and/or print them?

There is a whole bunch of "djvu" stuff installed under /usr/lib, /usr/share, etc,but there is no item in KDE menu and not a hint in all the forum postings.

Can anyone shed some light on this puzzle?

Best wishes BNK

There is a DjVuLibre package in the repo for VL6.0 and I believe it has a viewer for .djvu files. I don't know about 5.9.
Install with Gslapt

.djvu are image files that are used primarily for things like digital books. They are apparently much like PDF's but with much higher compression.

Here is some info on DjVuLibre
