you can use wifi-radar, WICD or even iwconfig..

what version of VL you are currently using?

provided you use a wep key, and your wifi card is detected as wlan0

pls post your ifconfig -a.....is your wireless card properly detected in VL6?

just try vlwifi, it work... :P

open a terminal or console....log in as root...then type ifconfig -a...
paste the output....
