Way Out In HyperSpace

« on: July 18, 2009, 05:09:32 am »

Hello,

Are there any classical music lovers on the vector forums? The reason I ask, is that I found an outstanding streaming station with streamtuner. It was listed on the Xiph tab and is called "Best of Classical OGG". It features light and relaxing selections and should prove quite enjoyable for anyone. Also classical is a bit of a misnomer; it really is orchestral music, no?

Love flip city.

I am an avid classical music fan/performer. I've never used streamtuner but I might check it out. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thanks Flip!

At the risk of thread drift ...

I'm curious if there's anyone who *doesn't like* classical music (at least at some time)?

I suppose if you're the hardcore heavy-metal death grunge Goth hip-hop smackdown country opera tecnopop only kind of person, then no.  Tongue

Has anyone ever met someone who doesn't like music at all?  (Isnt' that a strange thing to ask? Like asking if you don't like eating or breathing Smiley)  But I have met *one* person who regarded music with contempt, saying it was a waste of time. Wow!

I'm a classical music fanatic and opera is my passion. Thanks for the links.
