> Now are we going to talk about electronic music or hasty preconceived images of people who play a given genre
relax, Mon, it was a feeble attempt at playing with your electronic brain ;-P
It's electro
chemical actually; there's a difference.
Although neurotransmitters, as far as I know, serve only to mediate electrical activity between neurons. I think you could have an artificial brain without neurotransmitters, though you might need functional equivalents.
I still like the "old-style" electronica (just post Carlos).
Carlos, Tomita, et al. are pretty awesome
Almost afraid to ask, but why do you like such dark things? (It seems to me like musical/spiritual self-inflicted schadenfreude.)
I want to work for DARPA someday, as a neuroscientist. Since there's a very good chance I will be doing grossly unethical work, I ought to
inure myself to its repercussions now.
I mean, seriously, here, just look at this:

WOO HOO! WOO HOO! WOO HOO! WOO HOO!@Epic Fail Guy...
To be perfectly fair,...It's probably just because I'm of the "older persuasion",...and music that I am familiar with, is what I seem to prefer. I think your music interest is probably
MUCH better than I hear loudly blasted at times in my neighborhood! I (with great interest) will listen to some of your genre with an open mind,.....
Art can come in many forms. There are fine artists in all medium,...that not everyone would espouse to (even though the artists may be very talented). I think it's
terrific that you have an avid interest that you enjoy.
The closest I guess I get to liking "electronic" music,...is something like
Erasure and
Ace of Base....

Ace of Base is pretty good
"in all media", btw
EDIT:
Just went to the YouTube site,...and listened to "Dioxyde - Morphine (chemo mix)"...
and I actually liked the music part pretty well,...(just didn't care for the raspy-whispering)..but that's just me.
Oh yeah.
Panzerfaust (named for an early handheld antitank munition) is another very good song of theirs.
