In adobe, there is a plugin for AIR - linux version. The extension is .bin.

I have downloaded that. How to install it in VL 6.0 STD GOLD?

OR how to run AIR applications in VL 6.0 STD GOLD?

Re-installing is not a problem, but it is when I had to.

To install a .bin file, first make sure it has an executable attribute. If not, add one. You'll need to do this as root.

Then, in the directory where the now-executable file is, type in a terminal as root:
./nameoffile.bin

It should run for you. I just did this today to install the new security-fix release for Adobe Reader.

I don't know anything about Adobe AIR applications.

Thank you for the reply.
Sorry for asking this. I don't know some things like how to change a file executable.
Is it same as setting 777 permission?

You should be able to set the file as executable by just right clicking then selecting the appropriate box in the permissions tab.

VL 6.0 standard has two different file managers Thunar and pcmanFM.  Use pcmanFM, for some reason Thunar's permission tab does not offer to make this file executable.
Navigate to where you have the adobe air download with pcmanFM, right click on the file, choose 'Properties', then 'Permissions' tab, finally select the executable check box for owner.

You will then be able to double click the file to execute.

Unfortunatly, I think you will get an error saying that Adobe Air could not be installed because this is not a supported Linux distribution.  Only RPM-and Debian-based Linux distributions are supported.
