You would press the keys after you try to boot VL and it stops; giving you the error message. In your earlier post you mentioned that VL stops booting and gives an error message. At that point press the three keys and follow the directions by brokndodge. Have you checked the link I recommended, to determine what type of error message you get and what to do with it ? Don't be discouraged...keep going  ;)

I am concerned that you don't get the linux-tui boot option.  Does this mean that it stops before you get the blue vector log-on screen or that you mean that it goes to that screen but only gives you the linux and not the linux-tui option? If the latter, I doubt that Vector 6.0 standard (I presume this is what you mean by "full version") is properly installed.
