Author Topic: After VL6 install no menus and window borders  (Read 1042 times)

Finally after 4 or 5 retries I managed to install VL6 but in my 1st succesful boot, i notice my windows have no borders, no minimize, maximize etc icons, since i'm new to xcfe i thought this was normal but according to screenshots, it appears not, help!

We need to know what version of VL are you running.
cat /etc/vector-version # This command will tell the exact version number

Looks like your window manager has some problems. Please try to login in tui mode and execute startxfce4 from the command line, see if you can get some useful error message in the terminal.
