I have  speedtouch 330 adsl silver modem and it working fine on VL 5.8 SOHO. Now I 've installed VL 5.9.1 SOHO and it doesn't work. To reinstall modem drivers I followed the same instructions given at http://www.linux-usb.org/SpeedTouch/LFS/index.html, and there was no problem till I finished doing everything. When I restarted the  computer I get an error message saying that firmware was not loaded
e.g : root:# pppd call speedtch
Plugin pppoatm.so loaded.
PPPoATM plugin_init
PPPoATM setdevname_pppoatm - SUCCESS:8.35
connect(8.35): No such device
Tryng "dmesg" and sayng :
usb 1-2: reset full speed USB device using uhci_hcd and address 2
usbcore: registered new interface driver speedtch
speedtch 1-2:1.0: speedtch_find_firmware: no stage 1 firmware found!
I'm checking  the speedtouch driver into the kernel,is compiled  as a module and firmware (speedtch-1.bin, speedtch-2.bin) is regular charged in lib/firmware
So what can I do now, if someone had any success with the above or similar situation please let me know.
 Huh
