Vector linux 64bit?
« on: August 30, 2009, 12:36:49 pm »
I'm not really sure how closely vector is currently related to current Slackware.  I'm just wondering that since now Slackware is officially supporting 64bit vector might also?  I know there are limited developers so this might be harder to implement then I'm thinking.  I just like seeing how vector Linux continues to develop.

You guys are awesome and this is a great distro.

There is a 64 bit version of VL 5.9 in beta2. You can download it from the Downloads page of www.vectorlinux.com. There is also a 64bit version of VL 6.0 in (I think) Alpha something. You can get that from the VL FTP Repository at http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/Uelsk8s/iso-test/
The following sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.

VL 6.0 SOHO KDE-Classic on 2.3 Ghz Dual-core AMD with 3 Gigs of RAM
