Safely Remove Packages script
« on: February 14, 2010, 06:32:00 pm »
Since Gslapt/slapt-get sometimes removes all dependencies of a package instead of just the package (which can uninstall base system components sometimes) I wrote a bash script that uninstalls only the package/s that you specify. It's a command line version right now but it seems to work so please test and let me know how it goes. BTW this script will only be able to uninstall packages that you have installed since the initial installation. (the script is attached and I had to zip it so that the forum would accept it)
