Im going to make 2 VL terminals. I need to set it up as wireless.
I need to be 100% sure which PCI WLAN card works in VL.
I found for example  Edimax EW-7128g, but im not sure if its working on VL..
Please, just give me some model names if You know that they are all right.

Thanks

this is not an answer to your query, but instead a note of sympathy.  Why in the hell is it so hard to get on the internet?  Depends on the machine.  Some of mine get on fine. Others require ndiswrapper, or some such, which means I have to hire an IT guy when, say, I increase size of hard drive. Ridiculous.  We should be told, somehow, exactly what to buy so we won't give a dime to those wimps who suck up to Microsoft.

Anyway, as is clear, you can get no anwer from me.I pray for the day when linux is big enough so that outfits that don't make stuff which runs on our machines will go bankrupt.

Thanks for answer, I think I understand You point of view.
Well, one of my problem is time,
When i looked at some models they got only requirements note: Windows and Windows..
I suspect that most cards will run on Linux.

I just don't want to buy something which will be hard (or impossible) to install.
I just need simple answer from someone using it on VL.
I like VL and don't want to be forced to move on UBUNTU where i found that for example Edimax EW-7128g works fine.

To be clear:
If no one gives me an advice, then im buying Edimax EW-7128g, if I'll get any trouble on installing it on VL im moving on UBUNTU.

sry for my english

The Edimax looks like a good choice:
http://www.linuxcompatible.org/Edimax_ew-7128g_c12400.html

It even lists "Linux" in the requirements.

Go for it.

I bought an incredibly cheap Linksys WMP54G (no need for special drivers or ndiswrapper)
Works out of the box and performance is incredible.

I just bought a WMP54G for $39 on newegg.  I can generally eventually figure out ndiswrapper and modprobe and all that....just don't like to spend the time.

thanks for the tip.

I paid the same price @ the local fry's. Had purchased a trendnet before that but found no way to make it work either natively or w/ ndiswrapper. But this one, all i had to do was install it im the box and boot vl.
