Windows software <=> Linux software

 Hi everybody,
 came across this helpful equivalent list between Windows and Linux. Although a 1 1/2 years old, some may find this helpful in their transition from a Windows environment to a Linux environment.

Just found this post and want to thank you. This information will help us simplify training the young people we provide computers to as part of our Lions Computers for Kids project.
Laptop: IBM X60s (Centrino/Duo, 2gb ram, 80gb hd) VL 6.0 Std
