I am using thunderbird on an XP computer and every time I make a message rule in thunderbird (to sort mail into different folders) the rule stays for that day and the next day when I turn on the computer, all the message rules are gone. There is a folder that is labeled tmprules.dat that is empty. I did not create this folder. Are the rules disappearing to there or somewhere else? Can anyone help?
