Hippyredneck,

Glad you got it working, but:

What is compiz fusion and why do you use it?

Very nice, aesthetically pleasing eye candy that I know very little about yet other than it was a bit of a chore getting it to work for me and am very grateful for all the help.  I will be happy to report back to you when I know more about what I find it is useful for. I suspect that if nothing else it will at least be a lot of fun to play with :)

Yes, thank you again.  It's gonna be lots of fun learning about all the things it can do.:) I am curious to know how to take (realtime?) screenshot videos.   I can't get it to run in kde. When I click on the icon, the little compiz fusion thing starts jumping up and down but then stops and nothing happens. Maybe something to do with the xsettings manager? Also, when I logout of the xfce, it just goes back to a black screen with a little white horizontal line top left.
