Vector Virgin
« on: December 02, 2009, 11:45:43 am »

Hello from England
Sick of Windows. Wiped it from my hard drive. Vector is my first look at a linux distro. Been trying to get the hang of it for 4 weeks. Slooowly getting better.  I think it's time I asked for some help though! Rather than lurking on the forum.
Thanks or giving me the confidence to try something different and FASTER!

Hi netgem, welcome to the Vector community.

Learning a new operating system takes some time and effort. Don't hesitate to ask questions in this forum.

Welcome to vector...

May take some time to get used to it, but trust me, you won't miss crashes, viruses, spam, malware, popups and everything else related to the computer
infection called windows.

I will never go back, NEVER.

Hello netgem, and welcome to VectorLinux.
Not everyone like yourself jumps into the right distro at first shot, congratulations!  ;D
I hope you find this a good new home. I am looking forward to answering your questions when I can, and I'm sure the rest of this community is too.  :)

Welcome to Vector.  Hope you have the same luck I've had here.  So far it's been wonderful.
