Gooday from the land down under. I am a long time linux user but first time vector user.I am still only basically conversant though. I have tried prolly a dozen distros in the last 5 yrs since I first was pointed in the right direction. Some are better than others. Some work straight out of the box and some need tweaking.  All are an adventure in their own right! Right now I am going searching to find out why my moues wheel doesn't scroll. Thanks for providing this site, it will be most useful I am sure. James.

Hi wavemaker!
I want to take this moment to welcome you to VectorLinux. I hope that your experiences here with VL and the community will be an end to all that distro testing. As for the mouse, I see you've already been searching around for answers, I hope that the selections you've found will be the answer. If they aren't, please feel free to make a post. We do try very hard to have VL working out of the box for as much hardware as possible, but sometimes some things just slip by somehow.
