starting from scratch

hi, im currently using a windows xp and i want to move to VL standard edition i downloaded it but all i got was a bunch of files and (lol) i dont know how to make a iso, and what are any problems or issues i should worry about while installing and using VL

i used fedora 5/6 from a cd i bought a while back for like 1 year i found it impossibly difficult to run and install things so im already best friends with goolge search lol

First, you have to burn the CD as an .iso file.  Probably in your cd burning application you have some special option for isos.

after that, you'll be ready to boot with your just burnt cd.

This is one of the best iso burning programs I have found for windows, and its free.

Just download, install then once you start the program, you tell it where your iso file is and click burn.
