I'm not sure I ever introduced myself here when I opened this account some time ago. I tried Vector a while back but couldn't get all the bugs worked out. I am back again. I have multiple machines I tend to. I recently got back a Inspiron 4000 laptop and it was "basically shot" and I thought why not try Vector on it. I installed VL 6.0 standard on it. It actually seems to be working fairly well. (I'm wondering if I'd be better with the lite version) Anyway the machine is 600 mhz and has 256 of ram. I have run other linux builds and have become accustomed to a debian build but, I think this may better serve my purposes on some older machines I'm trying to get going for family members that could otherwise not have a computer. (mostly kids). Anyway I'm sure you'll see me asking questions and lurking around in the forums. Thanks for what appears to be a wonderful distro.
