Strechedthin has made an attempt to build it, and hit problems. So far, no solution in sight (in other words, no-one else looks to know what the problem is either....).

Doesn't seem to be quite a straight forward as it might be.

I'm copying over my post to the packagers thread of the forum to here.  It seems to be where the action is.

haywire has requested a package.

I gave it an attempt to build the package.  I was able to build and install 'soundtouch', which I can upload to contrib, it is a required dependency.  Installed fox 1.6.34 and that seemed like all I should need to complete the build.

Then the build failed with these last lines....

They felt they solved it with the following...

I think this is related to an API change and recent upload of a new FLAC
Library, from libflac-dev's changelog:

  * New upstream release. closes: #405167, #411311
    - libOggFLAC and libOggFLAC++ have been merged into libFLAC, so
      remove their corresponding packages.
    - Because of the API changes required to effect the above, there has
      been yet another soname bump. libflac7 -> libflac8 and
      libflac++5 -> libflac++6. Emails have been dispatched to the
      maintainers of dependent packages.

This has moved beyond my expertize so if anyone wants to pick up where I left off, or at least give me some detail as to what my next move would be, that would be great.

Sorry to hear about the problems but thanks for the attempt. This problem is beyond my own meager abilities to fix as well.

Hopefully, this can be fixed somehow, would make a nice addition, rezound it seems is alot like soundforge, which I used to use alot and love.
