Used avidemux a couple mounts ago and now its not opening. Since then I went through a couple of dvd ripping program till i found one I liked and that might be the reason why its not opening now. When I type it into konsole it tells me command not found when it worked fine before. Its probably something simple but I cant find it.

Thanks
Mike

Did you su to root and run
updatedb
to get an up-to-date database of your files? After you run updatedb, do
locate avidemux
and if it's found, check the path. I'm assuming avidemux is the command used to start the program. If it's not found, I'd reinstall.

I'm not sure what you tried after doing locate. These would be the likely candidates to start the program:
/usr/bin/avidemux2_cli
/usr/bin/avidemux2_gtk

I haven't used the program so I don't know what those might do. Check your file manager and make sure they have the execute attribute. Let us know if either of those will start the program.

Also, did you check /usr/doc/avidemux-2.4.4/README? There might be something there that would help.
