Opera

Since opera is in the repos, I didn't know whether just to wait for the newer release or try to get it or what??  Just curious here.  Thanks

Opera is easy to install/update using a download from their site: http://www.opera.com/browser/download/
Choose the tar.gz or tar.bz2 package, extract it and run the included "install.sh".

That said, I will package it and upload in the next few days.

Ok, Thanks.  I certainly was willing to do that (or at least try)  but I wasn't sure if the correct way to do that was uninstall what was here first or what?  (to make all of the links to it here still work) or honestly where to put it when I intalled it. I've come a long a bit since starting this journey but still a long way to go.
