I installed Lime Wire and I want to put a icon launcher onto my desk top. In the tutorials it tells you how to do it in Xfce4 but not in KDE. I'm running 6.0 classic KDE.

I don't see limewire in the repo, but you should be able to create a new launcer on the KDE3 desktop by just righ-clicking, selecting "Create New > link to application > application tab > browse" and go to the executable.

Appears to be pretty much the same in KDE4 (running that on a different box). Let us know.

I'm running KDE 3.5.  Thanks for the help it worked just fine. It's a little diffrent then Xfce4.  To get to the tutorials i went to the how to post, then to the tutorials post and looked under Installing Software.  It showes you step by step how to install LIme Wire.
