Flip City  has built a new K9copy package for VectorLinux 6.0.

k9copy: k9copy (a DVD backup utility)
k9copy: K9copy is a small utility which allows copying DVD's on Linux
k9copy: The DVD video stream is compressed by thr program Vamps
k9copy: The video stream is compressed to make the video fit on a 4.7GB recordable DVD.
k9copy: DVD burning, Creation if ISO images, choosing which audio and subtitle tracks are copied.

I was able to install into a virtual machine at work.  All looks good.  I'll have to test it further when I get home as my Virtual Machine does not recognize my  DVD drive and I can't test it fully. 
Mostly, just wanted to say..welcome to packaging flip.

thanx for the welcome. BTW i have installed and used the k9copy package with success. a bit frosted, cause one of my dvd-roms started to poop out on me, so i had to create an iso image first and then let k9 work it's magic. Normally it copies from one dvd drive that's reading to the dvd drive that will be writing, with just a couple of mouse clicks. a must have application !
