embedding java app in web page?
« on: March 24, 2010, 05:24:51 pm »
How do you embed a java application in a web page? I have some .jar java applications I would like to do this with. I looked at the (javascript?) code for the Gcalc 2 java app on the page here: www.gcalc.net
I made an html file using that code and it worked for running Gcalc3 but not anything else.
The following sentence is true. The previous sentence is false.

VL 6.0 SOHO KDE-Classic on 2.3 Ghz Dual-core AMD with 3 Gigs of RAM

If memory serves me you just contain the class (or jar) file within an applet tag.

check here for reference: http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.4.2/docs/guide/misc/applet.html
