arrrow key and enter in dekstop
« on: April 28, 2010, 02:00:24 am »

Hi,

I am totally new in using VL and I got little problem. If I select icon on the desktop with single click, then I cannot move the selection icon with ARROW key as I can do it on windows desktop. Also, when I hit ENTER, nothing happened. May be I have to configure something but unfortunately, I don't know. What should I do for this problem?

Thanks a lot

The desktop icons in Light do not behave like they would in a full Desktop Environment. For that you need KDE, Gnome or Xfce. It's a trade-off to get more speed out of the system.

hi nightflier,

thanks a lot for your explanation. If it is trade-off between speed and desktop environment, then I think I will choose the speed, so light edition is still the best solution for me...

Success for Vector Linux developer!
