something that got me thinking. I have a Ubuntu machine here and the "update" manager or apt-get will install a new kernel without removeing the old kernel.
now on vector. i remember reading gslap or slapget would install the new kernel but remove the old.
shouldnt there be some way to configure it where we could gslap or slapget and install new kernels without removing the old kernels? it would make installing new kernels a bit easier for newbs plus having it install the extra packages the kernel may need (ndiswrapper ect) along with it.
If ubuntu can do it why cant we?
just something that got me thinking.
