When I try to start wbar, I get this error message:

Using /home/daniel/.wbar config file.
***** Imlib2 Developer Warning ***** :
        This program is calling the Imlib call:

        imlib_free_image();

        With the parameter:

        image

        being NULL. Please fix your program.
/usr/share/wbar/iconpack/wbar.osx/font/18 -> Couldn't load font.

Anyone know how to fix this? I already tried reinstalling the package. I installed wbarconf BTW since it included the configuration utility as well as wbar itself.

There is a standalone wbar package, which I built some time ago. Install it. You should be able to leave wbarconf in place, but I think you'll find that the standalone package will not fail with that error.

The package you want is here:

http://vectorlinux.osuosl.org/veclinux-6.0/extra/x-apps/wbar-1.3.3-i586-1vl60.tlz

toothandnail,

I used VL 6.0 light. Can I install and use wbar? For I am new in linux, then I think I have to run "installpkg wbar-1.3.3-i586-1vl60.tlz" as root. But how to start wbar automatically? do I have to install "wbarconf-0.7.2.1-i586-2vl6.tlz"?

Thanks!

Try launching it manually from a terminal first, to make sure everything is the way you want it.
For autostart, add a line to ~/.icewm/startup:
Code:
wbar &
