Hola,

Es posible instalar paquetes .deb o .rpm en vector linux?.  Lo pregunto porque quiero instalar teamviewer para administraci√≥n remota y si no tengo que compilar el tar.gz (descomprimirlo primero) y no estoy seguro que pasa con todas las dependencias. Muchas gracias.

It looks like the "linux" version of Teamviewer is actually a Wine-implemented application, and not linux-native at all.  This being the case, I would assume that the only dependency _may_ be Wine itself however it looks like there may be a stripped-down version of wine already included in the package (tar.gz).

You may be better off just downloading the tar.gz, and unpackaging it to a user directory to see if it will run directly from there - I think it just might.

I just tried teamviewer here and it seemed to fire up just fine.

From this site http://www.teamviewer.com/download/ I downloaded the .tar.gz file under linux (last option.)
Uncompress the .tar.gz file when the download completes
Open the resulting folder and execute the teamviewer file.
Takes a second or so for the program to start but it does start, so I think it's a static app and all it's dependencies are there.
