Flwrap is a nice little utility for ham radio ops who send emergency message or handle messages on a network.

It will wrap and compress files that can be verified by the receiving station to make sure there are no errors in transmission.

In VL-6.0 Standard with the default xfce desktop drag & drop will not work with this program.  you have two options available you can use the program in command line (terminal) and issue the comand flwrap "filename"

or you can copy the /usr/bin/flwrap file to your /home/"user Name"/Desktop file. this will place an Icon on the desktop and the drag & drop feature of the program will then work properly.

if you need help you can email me at davekc1di@gmail.com
