I've used VL for some time with slightly older laptops with 14" screens, but also have a nice 19" screen available.

When using VL5.9 on the old Compac Armada, with the 19" plugged in, the system has no problem adapting to the 19" and uses the whole screen.  Lovely!

I'm now using a newer Compac (Evo) and VL6.0, but the system doesn't adapt to the 19".  The display stays at about 14-15" and therefore fills about 2/3 of the larger screen.

How can I get it to occupy the whole screen?

I've just been working with a .pdf document with XPDF and, strangely, if I maximise then minimise it, it breaks outside the above limits and extends down to the bottom of the 19" screen! The X window toolbar sits on top of it at its previous position.

I don't understand! Undecided

I seem to have solved this by fiddling with settings on the task list panel, and now I've got whole screen. Smiley
