So now I see that Gimp 2.6.10 is out as of today. Download the source from here: http://ftp://ftp.gimp.org/pub/gimp/v2.6/

They haven't announced it on their website yet. Please include in the latest SOHO!!

Just tripped across this one.....

I installed all options when installing RC3, including lm-sensors. However, typing "sensors" in the cli results in:

Quote
Can't access procfs/sysfs file
Kernel interface access error
For 2.6 kernels, make sure you have mounted sysfs and libsensors
was compiled with sysfs support!

Try
Quote
# sensors-detect
as root and answer YES on all questions. Post the result.

Some strange behavior being noted via the system logs. Every 2 seconds, I'm getting the following generated:

Code:
2010-07-14 12:31:22 bodacious kernel hda: status error: status=0x58 { DriveReady SeekComplete DataRequest }
2010-07-14 12:31:22 bodacious kernel hda: possibly failed opcode: 0xa0
2010-07-14 12:31:22 bodacious kernel hda: drive not ready for command

Not doing anything right now that requires cd-rom access and there is no disc in the caddy. Weird.
