Hello everybody.
« on: July 18, 2010, 02:55:05 pm »

I must say that i am so far very pleased with Vector Linux.  My main PC a Windows 7 box is out of commission for a bit while i get a new power supply.  I have 4 other PC's here and decided that it was long over due for Linux to be installed on one or all of them.  I am a basic newbie user with it comes to Linux.  I have dealt with it before a few years back just doing installing and nothing more.  I am looking to change that up a lot.  I know these forums have a vast knowledge base of information that i can learn about.  I do Desktop support for a living and is ashamed that i have not learned Linux much at all.  Well i guess that's about it for now, until my next post thanks all.

If you play with your new vector linux box long enough, you won't care about your dead windows 7 box... except to use it as spare parts, or install vector to it... :)

Welcome.

Welcome.  Windows is the cigarette; VL6 the cigar.  Windows is kool-aide; VL6 a good claret. (I can't spell cabernet savignon).  Best way to give up cigarettes is to quit cold turkey.  Use this forum as your nicotine patch.
